How our service works:

We are a private catering business with the goal to provide a professional, clean, and worry free food service for our customers. Let us handle your next dinner party, private dinner, or family reunion so that you can concentrate on friends and family instead of the hassle of preparing food for your guest.

We offer several options of service to choose from:

1. Full scale restaurant atmosphere:

This gives you the option of a full 3-5 course dinner served to you in the privacy of your own home, great for parties and anniversary dinners alike. We will supply all dishes, silverware, and glasses needed for the event. 90% of all food preparation will be completed prior to the event, with the final cooking process taking place in your home. The purpose of preparing so much of the food ahead of time is so that we can maintain a clean work environment in your home and avoid an unnecessary mess and clutter. We will set the table and serve each course individually to simulate the service and food quality of a fine dining restaurant. After the last course has been served we will begin breaking down our equipment and clean your kitchen so that it looks as if we were never there. And we will even take out the trash as we leave.

2. Standard catering style:

This option is what you may picture when you think of a party being catered. It will be setup as a buffet like layout with several platters and a decorative center piece. The original setup of the buffet will contain a platter of each selected item. We will then have several back up platters of each item to ensure no platters get too empty, and that the product being served is of top quality that you need not worry about old product being served. This option tends to be the most popular with informal parties when guests are walking around.

3. Formal service:

Perfect for cocktail parties that require only appetizers and dessert. Servers will constantly move throughout the crowd with platters filled with individually sized portions of your selected items. The chef will be at our main station preparing and plating product so that there is no shortage of food for your guests. Servers will also pick up trash that is left behind during service.

4. Family style:

Perfect for any sit down meal whether it's family or friends. This option contains a sit down dinner with large plates of food placed around the table that are shared and passed around so that everyone can sample anything they would like. The cooking process of this option is very similar to our full scale option. Again, 90% of the food preparation will be completed prior to the event, with the final cooking process taking place in your home. And as always, your kitchen will sparkle when we are finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much notice do you normally need to set up an event?

A: The larger the party, the more notice preferred. For larger parties 10 and over, we ask for a two and a half to three week notice. For smaller parties of 10 and under, two weeks notice is perfect.

Q: Including the chef, how many staff members will be at our event?

A: For private dinners of five or less, the chef will be the only person present; they are responsible not only for preparing your dinner, but serving as well. After there it will vary. For sit down dinners, I prefer to have one server to every ten dinner guests. So if there are twenty dinner guests, there will be one chef and two servers. If the event is being served buffet style, that will simplify things. If is a shorter event, the chef can handle both preparing food and supplying the buffet on his/her own. If the event is lasting more than 3 hours, there will be at least one server assisting the chef. The amount of staff is determined by the number of people we are serving, the length of the event, and size of the room.

Q: What are acceptable payment methods, and how does payment work?

A: Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept credit cards. Check or cash only. We require a non-refundable deposit two day previous to the event that will go towards your final bill. The non-refundable deposit is normally 35-40% of the final bill.

Q: Are we expected to leave the kitchen while you are cooking?

A: Of course not, after all, it is your home. I normally have at least one person watching me in the kitchen and it does not bother me at all. I encourage you to watch and ask questions if you have them, though I won't be hurt if you don't. This is meant to be a memorable experience for you and you guests. I will be happy to put on a show, or answer any questions you may have.
